Cima Calotta m. 3225,27 aprile 2022 Quando lasci il tuo segno in un paesaggio vasto e incontaminato, il risultato è arte… Non so dipingere la montagna come Segantini (!!!…) ma sono certo che la neve ci può far sentire artisti. Capita che i compagni ti lascino solo, assicurandoti però che la Calotta sia ancora accessibile con tanto di traccia già battuta. Decido pertanto di andarci poiché si tratta di percorso ben conosciuto e alle ore 6 sono già al Rif Pettitpier m. 1950 per affrontare a piedi il traverso che porta alla Conca del Pozzuolo dove c'è la neve. Sulla scorta delle indicazioni cerco la traccia di salita, ma non la trovo. Evidentemente è stata ricoperta da una nevicata successiva che da un lato mi toglie una comodità, ma dall'altro mi consente di disegnare salita e discesa a modo mio. Via via che prendo quota anche lo spessore della neve nuova aumenta e subentra il dispendio di fatica che normalmente si ripartisce tra i partecipanti… Essendo da solo compenso con qualche pausa in più In queste condizioni, risalire il canalino della Bocchetta di Valbione m. 2815 sarà un un gran lavoro seguito da 100 m. di discesa di traverso sotto la Salimmo per risalire la omonima valle fino alla cima Calotta che raggiungo dopo ben 5 ore. La giornata è splendida, la vista fantastica ma l'attrazione fatale è per la discesa: tanta fatica a tracciare la salita nei 15 cm di neve nuova, maggiore la soddisfazione conseguente. In pochi minuti mi “mangio”oltre 700 m. della valle di Salimmo scendendo ben oltre il traverso che porta alla Bocchetta di Valbione. Discesa spettacolare: si sente che la neve è perfetta! Ora mi aspettano 300 m. da risalire: con pazienza e senza fretta ricomincio a costruire la mia nuova traccia fino alla Bocchetta. Adesso c'è solo da scendere nella splendida conca del Pozzuolo e qui, tra dossoni e canali, è ancora una gran pacchia! La temperatura ancora bassa ha vinto sul sole, solo gli ultimi 100 m. risulteranno sfondosi ma ormai il disegno è finito. Traverso di ritorno e, in poco più di 8 ore, sono alla macchina senza avere avvistato o incontrato anima viva. Una giornata particolare perché sulla neve nuova della “grande montagna” ho tracciato una linea continua, un disegno “artistico” solo mio che rimarrà tale fino al prossimo salitore o fino a quando le forze della natura non si incaricheranno di cancellarlo.
