La Chiesa del Soccorso a Forio d'Ischia non è solo bella ma riveste un significato particolare per tutti gli abitanti dell'isola. Sorge su un piccolo promontorio a picco sul mare ed è dedicata al culto della Madonna della Neve; è bianca, spicca da lontano e rappresenta la classica costruzione mediterranea. Il promontorio del Soccorso a Forio non ospita solo la Chiesa, accanto a questa infatti vi è il Torrione, simbolo di Forio e sede del museo.
