at 95mm, 1/250 f/8.0, ISO 500, tripod. Mont Saint Michel, France.

Honestly they are both beautiful but I prefer this one, in the other they seem "protagonists" the sheep.

Hello Indigo, there is absolutely your preference.
Ovvia the birds have a lower weight and therefore we focus better on Mont Saint-Michel also because of the light that struck it at that moment.

Nice classic with good light! On a compositional level I prefer this between the two... and maybe I would trim a little bit high but they are details! Nice shot congratulations!

Thank you for your preference Gianni.
I agree with you that you could give a limatina to the sky ;-)
A greeting, Giorgio.

First of all, congratulations for the beautiful image: Mont S. Michel emerges from the mist below with a truly suggestive scenic effect; at first, the strip of land in the foreground left me a moment perplexed about its functionality but I immediately changed my mind: in addition to delimiting a "triangle" of sea with a beautiful scenographic effect, it gives proportion and depth and contrasts well with the vertical development of the peninsula.
My very modest opinion: personally, I would have liked a minimum of readability more but, I repeat, personal taste that does not detract from the validity of the shot.

Hello Leonardo, thanks for the passage and the careful comment.
I have to say that on the field at the beginning I struggled a bit with the framing, precisely whether to keep this piece of land or move again looking for a more minimal composition.
I can ask you what you mean by readability?, a cleaner composition or more detail?, thanks.

Certainly! The compo, always in my opinion, is perfect, I meant a greater opening of the low lights, so as to better appreciate the details of the buildings.
A greeting !

Ahhh, ok ok.
Yes, I must say that in the last period I close the shadows enough and consequently even the lights remain soft enough not to have an excessive contrast.
But I understand your note and it fits perfectly.
Thank you again.
Hello, George.
