In fact, as a starting idea I had to start the stem from the lower right vertex of the frame.
But this would have involved eliminating too many elements of the plant in post-production, some among other things covered the stem and I did not want to disfigure my beautiful seedling by removing them by hand ;-).
So I opted for the solution you see. However, I agree with your remark.
