Ho fotografato queste quercie nel 2006 in Svezia nel corso di un reportage su Carlo Linneo ripercorrendo i sentieri che aveva fatto nelle sue esplorazioni nel 1732. Il grande naturalista svedese aveva annotato questi maestosi alberi nel suo diario. Oggi nonostante tutto sono ancora lì e anch'io come lui sono rimasto a lungo a godere di quella meraviglia con lo stesso stupore ed ammirazione.
