Tempo fa ebbi un Editor Pick per una foto di questo magnifico ed enorme ghiacciaio che si trova tra il Pakistan e la Cina. Non e' molto lontano dal fratello maggiore, ovvero il Baltoro che scorre da ovest verso est fino ad arrivare al Concordia e diramarsi a nord verso il K2 e il gruppo degli 8000 Gasherburn e Braoad Peak. Il Batura e' sempre da est verso sud ovest ed e' anch'esso circodato da una manciata di 7000 tra i quali il piu' alto e' il Batura Sar che si vede sulla destra.
