Il sensore di due apparecchi GFX 100 che ho utilizzato hanno grossi problemi con gli hot pixel o pixel bruciati, non solo a ISO 3200 (disastrosi) ma anche alla sensibilità base ISO 100. Sino ad ora sono sempre riuscito a sistemare questo grosso problema in post-produzione, ma si tratta di interventi molto dispendiosi in termini di tempo. Da notare che su schermi professionali molti hot pixel si notato senza ingrandire l'immagine e spiccano sulla giacca di pelle nera. D'altro canto, sono soddisfatto della gradazione tonale e cromatica offerta dall'apparecchio, decisamente migliore rispetto a quella offerta da sensori 24x36mm, ma parimenti inferiore a quella offerta dagli apparecchi con sensori 40x54mm, vero medio formato.
