Il Sasso di Preguda è un enorme masso erratico di serizzo ghiandone che si trova isolato su uno sperone del Moregallo a 400 metri di altezza del lago (di Como) e a 647 metri su quello del mare. Ha la forma di un prisma a quattro facce, lungo circa sei metri, largo tre e alto sette per un volume di oltre cento metri cubi. Nel 1895, per volere dell'allora parroco di Valmadrera, Don Giuseppe Valera, e con l'aiuto di volenterosi contadini, iniziarono i lavori per la costruzione della piccola chiesa dedicata a Sant'Isidoro da realizzare addossata a una delle pareti del sasso di Preguda, che fu poi inaugurata il 12 maggio 1899, festa liturgica di Sant'Isidoro.
