I agree Gaet, it is sharper even if acquired with a slightly lower resolution than the other. The problem, although minimal, of the side/corner areas that are somewhat blurry remains. You can see if you compare the bottom right corner.
Thanks a thousand of the passage and the comment!

Thank you very much Dany!
Racracy also the little girl, now thirty! :-)
2 to 1 for the original setup of my "do it yourself" accrocco.

Charles :-o :-o :-o
Compliments ;-)
Bellissimo test ;-)
They are good both but I prefer the one on the left made with 50 mm because the yield is more uniform 8-)
A question : what diaphragm openings did you perform the two scans with?

Oooh Charles, I've been waiting for you! :-D
Then for the moment 2 to 1 for the right shot.
It's true that the left shot's yield is more even, you have a keen eye!
I snapped at F11 with both goals; the 15-45 expires dramatically if you open the diaphragm.
Thank you a thousand!

Carlo

A great result.
Actually you can see what I was told, but the differences are slight and the final result seems to me in both cases more than satisfactory. If I have to.... a minimal preference for dx shooting.
a greeting.

Thank you very much Paul, your passage for me is an honor.

Carlo, back on the subject also proposing a series of tests at f. 8 to see if the scans are better. In fact, at f. 11, a slight dif-breaker may begin to appear for these magnification reports.

Okay, Carlo, I'm going to do this. In fact, a young colleague of mine told me the same thing, who understands much more about photography than I do (he makes little effort) ;-)

Thank you Fabio, as the good Carlo Alfonso says is more uniform.
How remarkable it is that after 30 years this slide has preserved such bright and faithful colors.
Good day,
Carlo

Charles, right!!! Some old slides are a surprise for how they have been preserved and how they have preserved, intact, the colors. The best, in this respect, are the old Kodachrome 25 and 64 ISO: looking at them in a shading light on the side of the emulsion you can see the finesse of the "sculpting" of the recorded image... almost a screenprint :-)

Carlo, it's probably a Kodachrome but I think 100 or maybe 64, very good films.
Between the targets I also tested the 35mm XF35 F2 but with very disappointing results because it blurred a lot on the sides.

In fact. Wide-angles do not go very well for this type of "close up" photo in which the subject is flat and not three-dimensional. Much better the long focals ;-)

Beautiful little girl, I like both of them. But I vote the one on the left so let's do a 3a3.
