I am not sure what species this is???, so any clues on identification will be much appreciated!, maybe it's a Sawfly larvae?. This scene is tiny, what you can see of the creature is approximately 5mm in height. This is a completely live subject, taken in the wild, my garden (but with a piece of black card placed behind the busy habitat). This is a 30 shot stack. Canon 5d2, extension tubes, Tamron 180mm, reversed 50mm, focus rail, cable release. Thanks for looking, cheers! :O)

Sawfly larvae?

You Should Be right! As you can see, there is only one single segment without legs or pseudo-legs and this is typical of hymenoptera.
RR very interesting ;-)
