But size matters!!??? sent on March 12, 2020 (12:31) by Lorisb. 38 comments, 817 views. [retina]

at 135mm, 1/1600 f/7.1, ISO 320, hand held. Oasi Naturalistica La Valle, Italy.

Battute e critiche ben accette

I do nature and bird photography and my "tool" (300mm PF) only measures 89x148mm MrGreen MrGreen MrGreen
However, 300mm X 1.5 (APSC Nikon) X TC-14 (extender lens) = 630mm. So yes, size matters. ;-)
For birds,> 900mm is not a luxury, but it often requires taking pictures with a lookout.
Personally, I photograph while walking, because I need to walk and my lens only weighs 700gr.

Personally a distinction, the optics are like the powerful heavy life seasons in youth able to withstand fatigue and stress, then gradually decrease to get to the short and light wide angles.
for, but if I think about it... Marino :-D

But size matters!!???
all veryoo relative obviously depends on what you do... :-P you're do street landscape portraits obviously absolutely not... If you put your heart into it ... a bit of skill and a bit of luck to catch the right time and if you can take full advantage of your equipment you will find that the photographer that is in you does not do the equipment. :-P Hello Rosario

Of course size matters, and even results, these equipments give comparable results to the most emblazoned equipment.

Because of the age that comes I tried to lighten up, a professional photographer friend (with whom we exchange opinions and advice) lent me a newly designed equipment... 450g camera and 1800/2000g lens.
These say, you're quite light and the footprint is smaller, but when I got home and downloaded the files I regretted not bringing my obsolete "reflexes" of almost a kg and my "six hundred" of 3.9kg. :-: I think I'm going to keep struggling.
It is important that size matters, but above all the quality...!! :-o

They're mostly important in birds, otherwise you don't take those pictures. ;-)
