I fell too! Sure it was the wind? I have screwed the lens that does not have the recognition of the stand so if you do not turn off the stabilizer makes you moved the shot, amazing! If you do not want to be the star moves FURTHERMORE you should keep the installation within 15 to 20 sec (with the 18mm) according to the formula 500/focale relative (eg 500/18x1.6fattore crop canon) and then raise the ISO a bit. Greetings Michael. Saluti Michele.

thanks for the tip! :-D I'm sure the wind ... my goal nn has the stabilizer :-( then I really have trouble understanding where the focus falls on ... is not marked and are more blurred than the times when I take a picture. Also I forgot to fill the viewfinder ... :-D

Unfortunately, the 350 does not have live view so I understand that is a real mess, I have the 600 and actually makes a lot of difference between the focus through the viewfinder and the LCD screen and you can zoom in on the star to 10TIMES and then you can understand much more accurate and what are the advantages in manual focus!. With the viewfinder can regolarti with only a few light or illuminated object at least 20-30 meters. You can also try the Hartmann mask to be applied on the target, but I think the biggest problem is always the size of the viewfinder and the low light of the same. The Hartmann mask you find in the link posted below. It 's done for telescopes but it also works if you put it on the camera's lens. www.billyard-ink.com/Hartmann.shtml
Michele.
