Guarda le due che ho postato. Sono entrambe sovraesposte, in pratica esponendo spot per il soggetto avrei ottenuto F 2,8 1/80" iso 1600 (anche iso 800 per rispettare l' apparenza della scena in scarsa luce dritta sul jpeg, la stanza non è particolarmente luminosa). I due scatti sono da considerarsi a F 2,8 1/80" iso 1600 della 100d, gli iso più alti e la post (d' obbligo per recuperare la sovraesposizione) sempre alla coppia F 2,8 1/80" hanno solo ridotto il rumore di quella situazione, al contrario sembra incredibile ottenere quei risultati a iso 3200 e addirittura a iso 12800 da un' aps-c del genere.
Al contrario, in una situazione che necessita di iso 12800 intesi per esporre "a zero", come lo sarebbe stata quella scena a F 2,8 1/640", ad iso 12800 ti avrei mostrato tutt' altro che quei risultati (macabri).
Gli iso è meglio non guardarli, tra gli automatismi delle varie fotocamere, i gain reali che utilizzano, il manico di chi scatta e l' impossibilità di conoscere con precisione la luce della scena (si fanno i conti sulle medie che non servono a niente).

In ombra è l' esposimetro (stupida macchina) stesso a portare le ombre al grigio medio (sovraespone circa +2), motivo per cui si vedono alti iso accettabili. Al contrario basterebbe un cielo di giorno da non bruciare per avere una coppia f/t di gran lunga inferiore e rendere (soprattutto le ombre) in maniera del tutto differente se rese visibili.
Sono sbagliati i test di laboratorio agli "stessi iso", cioè alla stessa coppia f/t inquadrando la stessa scena, perchè nella pratica ci sono fotocamere ottimizzate nei gain e altre che occorre sfruttare gli iso in manuale e scattare necessariamente in raw.
Ma almeno rispettano la coppia f/t e la scena.
Solo dagli iso, già con lo scatto singolo, non è possibile giungere ad alcuna conclusione sull' attrezzatura e la "tenuta iso" (tanti e troppi ragionano in questi termini).
Per intenderci, sarebbe bastato un cielo alle spalle da non bruciare o peggio un tramonto/alba in controluce per affermare (erroneamente) che la d500 ad alti iso è penosa (volendo quel ritratto).
