Erano ben 17 anni che non andavo all'Elba. Essendo dalla parte della costa che affaccia sulla Toscana, verso est, il sole mi sarebbe sempre nato di fronte. Inoltre, da semplice amatore, ho cercato di conciliare fotografia con vacanza e famiglia. Questi scatti dell'Elba sono stati fatti tutti la mattina presto. Sveglia puntata alle 5.30 ogni mattina (chiamarla vacanza è una parolona), scarpe ai piedi, zaino in spalla e torcia accesa. La cosa più bella è stata proprio incamminarsi a buio senza una meta ben precisa. Tanti passi lungo la costa, cercando ogni mattina nuovi spunti e nuove composizioni. Questo è ciò che i miei occhi hanno visto. Questo è ciò che sono riuscito a catturare. Spero con tutto il cuore che vi piacciano.
