#Jura

... Yes! the shoes are bronze and attached.
The shoes on the banks of the Danube are a Holocaust memorial. The bronze work, inaugurated in 2005 on Hungarian Day of Remembrance for the 60th anniversary of the Shoah, was created by director Can Togay together with sculptor Gyula Pauer.
I wanted to take advantage of the contest to share an emotion and not forget !!

Congratulations Francesco,
I like this image of you in b/n.
I, in my gallery on Budapest, with the same intent as you, I provided my own "interpretation" in color of the same site.
Greetings and a good weekend,
Polo

Hello shot and even more interesting and dramatic the story, I did not know about this story, perfidy and human wickedness has no limits.
