Il Mar Morto più che un mare è da considerarsi un vero e proprio lago salato, dove l'unico affluente è il fiume Giordano. E' il secondo lago salato al mondo e ha una estensione di 400 Km° bagna Israele, La Giordania e la Cisgiordania. E' situato a 400metri sul livello del mare ed è il livello più basso della terra sulla superficie terrestre. E' ricco di sali, una delle percentuali maggiori, che permettono di galleggiare e i fanghi che vengono estratti vengono utilizzati per scopi terapeutici e per trattamenti di bellezza. Nel mar morto non si nuota ma si galleggia, per un periodo relativamente breve, massimo 10 muniti, oltre l'elevata salinità delle acque secca la pelle. Pareri e critiche sempre gradite.
