La pista delle Tofane alle ore 8,45. Sono il primo ad arrivare, giusto il tempo che impiega la funivia che parte dal centro di Cortina. Il muro dove sfrecciano le atlete della Coppa del Mondo è ancora quasi intatto. Aggancio con un colpo secco gli scarponi agli attacchi degli sci e parto dall'alto, avanzo lentamente facendo qualche curva per scaldare le gambe e si sente solo il rumore dei miei sci. Prima un paio di piccoli dislivelli resi facili dalla neve tirata come un tappeto, poi si intravedono le due rocce rese ancor più rosse dal sole che ancora non si è alzato completamente. Da li non si scorge più nulla, è come essere sull'orlo di un precipizio mi fermo e sono solo. Il silenzio a questo punto è totale. Mi sale l'adrenalina e l'emozione è fortissima. Penso a come impostare l'azione, ma non serve. Mi butto giù, inizia la discesa che non è perfetta, anzi. Come potrebbe esserlo se non pensi alla tecnica ma è solo il cuore che ti porta giù. Arrivo in fondo guardo in alto e sono felice. Riprendo la seggiovia un'altra volta e la si rifà. Roberto
