Questo giovane maschio era infrascato insieme al fratello tra i fitti rami di un piccolo albero, per vederli siamo dovuti andare con la jeep a ridosso dell'albero ad una distanza tale che se ci fossimo allungati dal finestrino gli avremmo quasi potuto toccare la coda. I due stavano oziando molto probabilmente dopo aver mangiato (si nota la bocca sporca di sangue) e dopo un pò quello più vicino ha alzato il suo testone con la criniera ancora poco folta ma col muso già rovinato dai segni del suo vissuto nella savana. Da un buco tra le frasche si è visto il suo occhio un pò addormentato che per un attimo mi ha fissato. Eravamo talmente vicini (Photoshop dice 3 metri) che ho colto quel momento col 70-200 mm.
