, 1/8 f/7.1, ISO 200, tripod. Parco RTO - Rile-Tenore-Olona, Italy.

#Infrarosso #InfraRed

Very but very nice. I use infrared filters to mount on the lens (usually the 720, the others have a selective range too high). The result are photos with very accentual reddish dominants that then eliminate in PP, obtaining those b/n typical of infrared or tending to bluish. But I can't keep the original colors in any way like you did. Congratulations again.
A greeting

Thanks for the step mark. I prefer the 690 to the 720 because it lets pass a small part of the visible spectrum allowing you to still have ' normal ' colors. As I wrote in the caption it was evening towards sunset. Until then I had experienced the infrared only in broad daylight always obtaining the white vegetation or to the maximum yellowish. I noticed instead that with little low light the colors resist. D70 is modified for IR. I think that with the filter to the target you will be forced to use the tripod and shoot with very long times without the possibility to compose in the viewfinder as per shot not IR. Instead the advantage of the high pass filter in place of the low pass filter is that it uses the machine as for the ' traditional ' shots ;-)
a greeting.

On exposure times there is no rain.... with the filter on the target it takes times of biblical exposure, not to mention that you have to compose the scene before putting the filter. In practice to take a picture I use 3/4 minutes :-(
The 690 I never tried it, because the set of filters that I took departed from 720 to climb..... But some satisfactory photos I took her home (just find a day without wind)..... ;-)

Compo and subject pleasing, chromatic tones taken and represented very special even though ' pleasing and interesting, I would have tried to selectively lighten the internal solar crown of sunflowers a bit ' obscured, especially on the two most visible Frontally and in the first floor :-).
Compo Creative and not easy combination and realization, but you came out very well at the end mark, congratulations to you ;-).

I share your constructive criticism Claudio, I reasoned not little about the opportunity to recover the shadows on the darker parts of the sunflower. I desisted for two reasons, one of technical order: having snapped in JPEG (maybe the experts Dell'infarosso will tell me if it is possible to use even the most workable raw), every variation of brightness creates considerable noise difficult to remedy in post. In addition, the dramatic tones (at least this is my idea) of the photo are well used for more closed shadows.
a dear greeting.
