Monviso by Night sent on August 04, 2017 (10:51) by Mattia_Bertaina. 10 comments, 958 views.

at 14mm, Posa B f/11.0, ISO 100, tripod.

? Nikon d800e + Nikon 14/24 + Astrinseguitore minitrack Lx

What to say, technically a great job, all very clear. Even the reflection of the stars is great. Do you know what I miss? The emotion. The night is black if you look at the milky way. The lake reflects almost nothing, because everything is wrapped in the darkest, at least until the moon appears. And the first floor is invisible to the eyes. But you know that because you were there. Here, I do not find your emotion but just your technical interpretation. ;-)

Nice composition and nice job really.
The Milky Way is a bit pumped for my taste but the overall result is great.
Compliments!

Very nice, besides the personal artistic interpretations, as pointed out by Max, the moral is that for this photo you have to be there, you have to get the night, take the equipment, look for an adequate PDR, sometimes suffer the cold etc etc. Perhaps it is true that there is too much "light" but in fact if I really have to find something that does not convince me completely is the blur reflected on the lake, in contrast to the foreground and background very sharp, I would have devoted a shot also To that, it distracts me too much. Congratulations anyway, beautiful photo ;-)
