4 Luglio Arrivati nella notte, la nostra prima mattina a Reykjavik è di quelle tipiche autunnali. Partiamo però subito per la nostra meta odierna, il cosiddetto Circolo d'Oro che comprende il Þingvellir National Park, Geysir e Gulfoss famosa cascata. Giornata intensissima e al tempo stesso emozionante. Mi soffermo in particolare sulla zona geotermale di Geysir dove è incredibile il vapore e l'odore di zolfo che esce dalle viscere della terra. Davvero impressionante qui è lo Strokkur un geyser molto attivo che con regolarità erutta ogni 5/8 minuti. Le sue eruzioni sono altissime, ma ho trovato ancor più straordinario il momento dell'inizio che qui ho cercato di riportare fotograficamente.
