I made a lever gauge for adjusting the focus in a regular way. Here is a picture:

Actually, on this shot I simply set the camera to 8 fps, held the shutter down on my iPhone remote control (Olympus Image Share) and slowly turned the lever very steadily. I used the silent shutter so there is no vibration.
