Goose Granaiola (?) sent on December 21, 2016 (14:29) by LucaV72. 5 comments, 569 views. [retina]

at 150mm, 1/250 f/5.6, ISO 1000, hand held.

I think that comes from //www.allevamentopoggiodiponte.it/allevamento/oche/sheldgeese/oca-testa-rossa] here .... but probably there are other places where it is raised.

Thank you so much for the link :-) I'm so 'managed to give the name also the last duck (duck Bride) I had photographed but not yet identified; and' her as well among those who raise them.
I must say that with all these ducks / geese exotic do a pretty good view. Then, being (obviously) breeding, they do bring up a few centimeters. That of this photo was eating quietly next to the bench where I was sitting.

After much research I found that 'a female //en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Upland_goose#cite_note-zipcodezoo-3] Upland Goose . E 'virtually identical to' //en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruddy-headed_goose] Oca Testarossiccia (of which 'close relative) but is distinguished by a few small details: the mirror green- bronzed behind the wing (you can see) and red-white transition in the net in the neck 'Goose Testarossiccia and nuanced in OCA Magellan. From what I read is usually confused (also living in the same place) but the Goose Testarossiccia and 'VERY more' rare. Since where I photographed was steady with the Upland Goose I would say that should be his girl.
