at 200mm, 1/800 f/3.2, ISO 100, tripod.

Whilst out shooting bluebells, this white flower glowed translucent against the sun - it was growing on its own purely out of leaf litter and moss on a rotting tree stump. Whilst my Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 can focus quite close, it is not a macro lens, so I had to crop away about 25%, but the longish focal length (equivalent to 300mm in 35mm terms) brought the dark background forward, to set the flower off rather nicely.

Proves I can get down low and intimate with flowers, Ann! It was quite touching to find, admittedly. Do you know what flower it is?

Ah, but did you actually lie on the ground? (as I was doing today to photograph some wild orchids!)

Sorry - no idea...

I didn't lie down, for a start, I would have destroyed too many bluebells by my considerable 'body print' - lol - but did kneel. My big tripod won't go down that low anyway - it's not good for macro, to be honest. I'll do a bit of Googling later. I had a day off today!
