I was lucky enough to photograph this pair of trumpeters finchs (looks perfectly sexual dimorphism of the species, accentuated during the breeding season) and a few years ago, tapped one of the few locations where they can find water regularly.The reason of such a large diaphragm s the very limited depth of field that the protagonists get so close to the minimum focusing distance of the lens.
