Stavo scattando qualche fotografia attorno a questo luogo, quando una tempesta di neve ci sopraggiunse, venendo dal mare. Il cielo si stava oscurando sempre più e sembrava che il tramonto ci avesse ormai salutato per sempre. Quindi una volta arrivati alla macchina, per fortuna abbiamo deciso di aspettare una decina di minuti, solo per vedere se era una piccola burrascata di passaggio. E così è stato: il cielo è diventato man mano più limpido e le nuvole hanno cominciato a colorarsi di un tenue lilla, la fine del tramonto era ormai prossima. Il tempo alle Lofoten è molto strano, non il meteo, proprio il tempo. Mentre stai scattando una fotografia hai tutto il tempo del mondo per contemplare quella meraviglia, il tramonto e l'alba sono molto lenti a percorrere il loro percorso di transizione. Adoro questo posto, ma non solo per le cose uniche che riesci a vedere qui, lo adoro perché ti da il tempo di chiudere gli occhi e ascoltare il rumore del vento, del mare, l'odore di salsedine, ti fa sentire vivo, come una parte delle meraviglie che hai attorno.
