Tra il 1760 e il 1763 il conte Vittorio Amedeo Costa di Carrù e Trinità, che fu governatore di Novara e poi viceRè di Sardegna, dava incarico all'architetto Birago di Borgaro per la costruzione del suo palazzo affacciato su via San Francesco da Paola. Oggi il palazzo denominato "Costa Carrù della Trinità" è uno dei palazzi nobiliari più vasti della città, dopo una sostanziale ristrutturazione, sotto lo stretto controllo delle Belle Arti, è stato in parte destinato ad uso abitativo mentre il piano nobile è rimasto inalterato con i suoi stupendi affreschi e decori originali. Oggi grazie alla Real Solving Group Italia® è possibile organizzare eventi esclusivi in un ambiente unico dal prestigio inalterato dal 1700. Al piano nobile si accede dall'aulico ingresso esclusivo con scalone in marmo e dalle pareti affrescate, tre grandi porte si aprono sul Salone dei Mosaici, un balcone aulico si affaccia sulla Corte. Gli ambienti interni si sviluppano in una successione di affreschi, pavimenti e decori tutti risalenti al 1700.
