Il Boletus aestivalis, conosciuto volgarmente con diversi nomi, è un fungo edule molto saporito appartenente alla famiglia delle Boletaceae che cresce in un periodo che va dalla tarda primavera fino alla fine dell'estate, purché le precipitazioni non siano scarse.
