The Difference in Two Generations... sent on January 11, 2016 (23:00) by Timk2. 6 comments, 741 views. [retina]

at 70mm, 1/160 f/2.8, ISO 500, hand held.

My only mode of transport is either by bus, or train. Today, it is was bus (es). I often see potential shots of passengers but either don't have the right lens on the camera, it's far too dark, or I just don't dare! For once, I happened to have the constant f2.8 24-70mm Sigma EX on the DX D7000, which made an 105mm f2.8 equivalent. It was only during editing did I make the connection of the beautifully long haired young girl, who is busy texting/surfing the internet - and the old lady with spectacles and woolly hat - who is enjoying the view outside the bus.

Yes - I like the contrast between the two generations - well seen!
I miss too many portrait photo opportunities because I don't dare.....

There was no one else on the bus behind me, so no one was going to see, as long as the driver kept her eyes on the road!
