Questo è il cortile della casa-museo. Le case museo sono musei bizzarri che per nostra fortuna si sono conservate sino ad oggi, mantenendo intatto l'arredo originario del loro proprietario. A Torino esiste una delle case museo più belle d'Italia. Situata in via Po e sotto la Mole, la fondazione Accorsi-Ometto è oggi un museo di arti decorative che nasce già come museo. Fino al 1982 fu l'abitazione privata di Pietro Accorsi, collezionista, antiquario, arredatore e esperto in arti decorative del ?700. Alla sua morte, nel 1982, venne fondata, come da sue volontà, la Fondazione Pietro Accorsi con presidente Giulio Ometto che, nel 1999, inaugura il museo e tutt'oggi si occupa della sua manutenzione. Nessuno potrebbe mai immaginare che nelle stanze di un palazzo di Via Po si trovi un tesoro di oggetti del'700 da far invidia alle più famose case museo europee.
