E' stato magnifico incontrare queste creature arrivando a piedi fin sotto alle loro curiose proboscidi ( Mana Pools-Zimbabwe ). Un tronco caduto come -ridicolo- riparo, il respiro irregolare, il cuore in gola e la macchina fotografica in mano, che non sa se scattare, se potrà davvero immortalare un momento di emozione così forte...che ad essere guardati così da vicino da una creatura del genere ti senti strano, minuscolo e immenso allo stesso tempo. E il resto del Mondo scompare per un attimo infinito. Poi torni alla realtà ed è chiaro che invece è quest'Africa, questa vera e reale Africa che rischia di scomparire, per colpa nostra....ed io non me ne capacito, ma soprattutto non voglio accettarlo. #SaveOurElephants
