In Basilicata, a pochi chilometri da Matera, si staglia all'orizzonte, il profilo netto della città abbandonata di Craco, patrimonio architettonico inserito nella lista del World Monuments Fund. Abbandonata in seguito a diversi eventi franosi a partire dal 1963, Craco è diventata set cinematografico e luogo turistico di eccezionale valore. Passeggiare lungo le strade principali di questo piccolo borgo medioevale, osservare le abitazioni e i palazzi nobiliari invasi dalla vegetazione e in parte crollati ..... è un'esperienza unica!! Se poi capita una giornasa uggiosa ... beh, sentire le cornacchie gracidare (da cui il nome Craco appunto) mentre svolazzano intorno alla torre normanna... visita consigliatissima!!!!
