at 300mm, 1/30 f/7.1, ISO 1600, hand held.

Nice meeting !!! Shame about the noise (especially cormatico). In the woods, unfortunately, there is always very little light.
You were stalking or stalking?

Yeah ... shame really, the main problem I think it was not accorgemi of the ring in hand, I set to aperture priority mode with ISO 1600 precisely because they were not even 7 ... after a couple of shots, I realized that I had moved the ring and time to reset and it was already gone oltrre ... although I think with the little light that was there and the lack of a tripod shooting time would still be high.
stalking anything, just wandering
Thanks for the ride

Overall I am not convinced by these reasons:
-without detail, pasty
-rumore digital
-rumore chromatic
Tips:
-evaluate to change your approach ... use a support or buy a monopod or better still a tripod with ball head
-The Stalking you with the appropriate clothing, camouflage and camouflage nets .. here you had identified the subject.
-If you want quality you have to become invisible, to have the subject close and shoot with slow shutter speeds
? Each time an individual sees you hasten his return to the undergrowth in the forest-

Even convinces me ... just liked the meeting did
I thank you for the advice.
- I think it was quite appropriate clothing, even if that day I had with me a person who followed me out of curiosity, and maybe he was a bit 'less camouflage ... anyway the deer we stopped when we "cross- "to forty meters we were behind a pine in a pine so practically in the dark ... then calmly continued his walk, no run away or run.
we let him go quiet and we went to where we were headed.
- The times are long, unfortunately, I have to try with higher iso, but I fear that the result will not be the best
- Here we were in the woods, and each went on his way. if I follow the males do it remotely ragguardevole and with all the precautions to not annoy.
It 'happened to me while I was ambushed in the middle of pines by a good half-hour walk in front of the professional duty with white fleece and you place it in the middle of the clearing, looking around to see if anyone had not noticed his arrival .
Honestly, I have seen many males, but often I'm happy to watch them even without taking pictures rather than disturbing.

With optical 300mm the only chance to shoot with a certain detail these lovely people is, in my opinion, the proximity of the subject and to get the most it is preferable to ambush perfectly camouflaged, tailwind, chair-backpack, tripod hoping to not meet characters adventure that eliminates your photographic possibilities: - |. (Imho). hello, laurel
