The problem was the top of the image with an August sky, as you can imagine, it was not exactly dramatic as I would have wanted me and the sea was too chiaro and stormy for nothing, while I wanted it dark, dark, menacing. I did some tests until I decided (although "not a landscaper") to insert a filter (normally use, like the "real landscape" the Lee) GND 0.6 soft to the sky for sottoesporlo just 2 and a stop other filter mounted backwards nell'holder, a GND 0.6 hard to do the same thing for the sea, that is sottoesporlo. Mi interessava esaltare la luce sulle case e ho quindi usato una lettura spot solo su quelle per rendere precisa la loro esposizione. Il problema era la parte alta dell'immagine con un cielo d'agosto che,come potrai immaginare, non era esattamente drammatico come lo avrei voluto io e il mare che veniva troppo chiaro e per niente tempestoso, mentre lo desideravo cupo, scuro, minaccioso. Ho fatto alcune prove fino a che ho deciso (anche se "non sono un paesaggista") di inserire un filtro (uso normalmente, come i "veri paesaggisti" i Lee) GND 0.6 soft per il cielo per sottoesporlo appunto di 2 stop e un altro filtro montato al contrario nell'holder, un GND 0.6 hard, per fare la stessa cosa per il mare, cioè sottoesporlo. Dopo alcune prove mi è sembrato che la cosa andasse discretamente. In fase di postproduzione, pur non essendo particolarmente bravo ( i " veri paesaggisti" sono dei maghi in proposito), ho esaltato quanto mi ero proposto con le curve e duplicando i livelli in PS e applicando delle maschere di livello per il cielo, per il mare e per qualche casa, sfumando con pennello molto morbido. In più, ho evidenziato nello stesso modo la barca. Ma senza troppo esagerare: il gioco, in fondo, era quello di partire in ripresa da una condizione normale, piatta, per niente drammatica e vedere se, con un po' di esperienza legata anche a tantissimi anni di pellicole, sviluppi in bianconero, sviluppo e stampa colore e diapositive , un po' di buon gusto potevo combinare qualcosa di piacevole, diverso da quello che si presentava davanti ai miei occhi. Un gioco, un esercizio,una scommessa con me stesso se vuoi, per divertirsi, niente di più, anche "senza essere un vero paesaggista". E sembra che lo sforzo sia stato compreso da molti.Saluti.
