A lost battle sent on August 05, 2019 (14:37) by Susy Dan. 92 comments, 3488 views. [retina]

at 176mm, 1/1000 f/6.3, ISO 400, hand held. Kruger National Park, South Africa. Specie: Connochaetes taurinus

A sad but non-violent story, or if you want of violence that has a precise justification. Always sorry, but nature has its own laws.
A moment of great emotional and particular impact.
Congratulations

Unfortunately, whenever I took a photo of a heron, I never had such a spectacular foreground! MrGreen

@Lukeskywalker, Gabbia65 and Axl, late but... Thank you! :-P
@WolfgangK, I was actually taking a picture of the heron, but the crocodile and the wildebeest photobombed it... ;-)
Have a good weekend everyone! Susy
