(foto scattata da dietro la vetrata) .. la piattaforma di osservazione, del 125esimo piano (At the Top, oltre i 460 metri di altezza), offre una vista panoramica a 360 gradi, accanto alle vette dei grattacieli (che non sono più così alte viste da qui) si aprono distese di sabbia e deserto, dove per ora domina il vuoto. Inoltre, la torre sovrasta la Dubai Fountain, (la spettacolare fontana coreografica più grande al mondo), lunga 275 metri, ha un getto che può raggiungere i 150 metri di altezza (pari a 50 piani di un edificio), all'interno ha un circuito che permette di proporre coreografie acquatiche davvero incantevoli. Il circuito si compone di 5 cerchi, uniti da una striscia, che, tramite un complesso meccanismo, è in grado di far muovere l'acqua a suon di musica: l'acqua viene schizzata in alto, fatta sinuosamente ancheggiare e dà vita a una danza diversa ogni volta, a seconda del ritmo della musica. A completare la coreografia della danza della fontana ci sono 6.600 luci e 25 proiettori colorati. L'accesso alla torre avviene dal Dubai Mall, il Centro Commerciale che occupando un'area complessiva di 700 x 600 metri, ha al suo interno 1200 negozi ha conquistato il record di centro commerciale più grande al mondo per numero di negozi presenti nella struttura e ha un parcheggio che può ospitare oltre 14000 auto. La Burj Khalifa, con i suoi 828 metri è la costruzione artificiale e quella a sé stante più alta del mondo, quella con il maggior numero di piani (160), quella con il punto di osservazione più alto al mondo (al 148° piano, At the Top, Burj Khalifa SKY a 555 metri), quella con l'ascensore più veloce al mondo e dal percorso più lungo al mondo.
