Tra le meraviglie di Ischia c'è sicuramente il Monte Epomeo. Si tratta del punto più alto dell'isola (787 metri) e la sua cima offre panorami mozzafiato. Il Monte Epomeo è anche avvolto da un'aura mistica per la presenza dell'eremo di San Nicola, un tempo abitato da frati. La vetta è raggiungibile da località Fontana, una strada ripida ma di facile percorrenza. ll simbolo di Ischia è poi il suo Castello aragonese, a picco sul mare e intriso di storia e leggende. Per la visita al castello si accede attraverso la galleria che venne fatta scavare nella roccia da Alfonso I d'Aragona. Il castello ospita spesso eventi e manifestazioni culturali. La spiaggia più famosa dell'intera isola per la sua posizione è quella di Citara. Sempre soleggiata e con la sua sabbia dorata a grani grossi, la spiaggia di Citara è un paradiso di relax. In realtà ogni punto di Ischia è interessante; i suoi scogli sembrano bizzarri scherzi della natura per le sue forme particolari, le sue case di pietra ci parlano di una perfetta convivenza dell'uomo con l'ambiente.
