Thanks Massimiliano and Maxmin, in fact I too really like the composition of this shot, the waves have left the right space to the rock.

Beautiful rays on the sketches of the waves, with these that seem to come from the screen. Movement always dynamic, maybe a little "choked" pan.

this time Catherine, forgive my frankness, but it tells me a little poco.Tecnicamente is not discussed because it is exemplary, both for the choice of shutter speed, both for the management of light and colors, but then what? I do not see your usual search of the guidelines or the manic construction of the composition, but rather a snap end in itself, as if it were a workout in preparation for a trip special.

you replied to gianluca
the beach does not offer many rocks (including Voltri and Vesima between the two tunnels), the boulders on the ground are not very photogenic because artificial, the other kids with the sea so big they are fully covered ..

and then I wonder if it was an interesting location, what prompted you to go down on the beach and take pictures?

I know I'm a little bitch, but I'm not bad .. :-D only that the comparison must always be mutual between us is not it? ;-)
and then you should know me by now .. they are always consistent with my ideas.

hello, simone

:-) Hello Simon, I went there because the location is convenient and often in spite of everything offers good opportunities in winter with lights very nice. That night it was not so, I have not found a spectacular sunset or special conditions, and is coming off an image that certainly does not point graphic impact to be noticed. What has made me choose then among the tens of thousands that I have the HD? Just the particular composition that finds its strength this time not in the lines or in the distribution of the masses, but the contrast between the dynamic force of the water and the cold stillness of the rock, for me the meaning is all there is an image that tells the sea ??with discretion but to me it does better than most other "scream" ;-)
Greetings, carrion:-D:-D:-D:-P

Great shot as your usual! I really like the light reflecting wave, seems to be frozen, a really beautiful effect!
Excellent in its simplicity, although this may seem a little empty!

Very nice. :-)
Here we are only in Friuli beaches and the lagoon, beautiful places for charity but to photograph the sea with rocks we only have a small portion and not particularly nice, or should we go to Croatia which we will do in the spring hoping for good photos.
You are luckier because your territory is much more jagged with those magnificent villages set on the rocks offer many more opportunities to make great pictures.
Every time I go to the beach and see a little rock to your photos I think about how I could photograph it, but with poor results, compared to your later ...... 8-)
You're number one!
Regards Walter
