Elisabetta, Alessio, Paolo, Giovanni, Nicola, Francesco, it's a pleasure to find you all here: thank you very much for your words of appreciation, hello, best regards, giancarlo

@.... Raimondo, as an expert sailor, has sniffed out the good winds and would advise to hoist the sails on them: as far as the winds are concerned, he has caught us 100%, in fact at the top of the Passo di Cento Croci in recent years a dozen wind turbines have sprung up that turn and turn...... who knows if in the future Segesta will also be veiled, taking on a more airy and jaunty look :-P

And to think that I didn't know anything about it.... I am from Parma and I have often been to these areas..... I also know a lot of people from those parts.... while on the other hand I know well the phenomenon of emigration and I have friends and acquaintances who have returned to Italy after having obtained their pension ;-)
You never stop getting to know... not even the territory where you were born :-P ;-)
Beautiful and interesting ;-)
Best regards

Stefano and Alcenero, thank you very much for the passages and for your words; Hello, dear regards, Giancarlo
@Stearm: I also discovered it by chance, about twenty years ago, while walking on a motorbike on the road that leads to the Passo di Cento Croci; from the road it is very little/not at all visible, hidden by trees and shrubs; you have to stop and enter on foot from a small esplanade with a bar; It could be that I discovered it in the search for a secluded place to pee :-) ... Since then I have grown fond of her and every time I pass by I stop to greet her, caressing her with my hand.

This artifact is unique and its history is interesting. Too bad it's in a state of abandonment. Nice shot, in excellent brightness, congratulations.
