A truly splendid image for lights, colors and composition.
That degradation really makes a lot of anger, so ... also great cleaning post ;-)
Congratulations
Elizabeth

I have my say. From the documentary point of view the photo with the waste in the gallery "Landscape with human elements" (and that elements ..) is all there.
Photographically, of course, the private one with the "elements" is much more enjoyable because the foreshortening is very suggestive and the soft light adequate to refine it. I
also say that when I see bivouacking, eating, playing etc .. on the monuments to the Memory, then leaving in place the traces of vandalism passages, I understand how much the concept of respect is now forgotten. I would propose to remove the term from the vocabulary as it is obsolete...
Forgive the verbosity.
Greetings
GG

Congratulations for the beautiful image Alberto! Excellent PDR and lighting management. Very sad the situation of degradation you described and thank you for bringing it to the attention of Juza users. Who knows, even if the big media were more interested in situations like these, maybe certain places and monuments semi-unknown to most would be better protected! Good day, Massimiliano

The colors caressed by the last light give a nostalgic and somewhat melancholic vision of the ruins
... Beyond the comments on the degradation, I have to admit that you did a really good job of recupero! :-P
