ISO 125, hand held.

Thanks Valentina, images can be powerful vehicles of emotions but words are essential to say deeply and tell; from your comment I feel that something essential I managed to get it through: thank you very much, giancarlo

A very good recovery. Beautiful image of ancient gestures, which bring to the surface even to me memories of childhood. Intense your story, Giancarlo, imbued with memories and emotional participation still alive. Appreciate.

Beautiful the document shot of a time in which the scale weighed "the right"
On the plate what had to be weighed and on the arm of the stadera the RIGHT weight that brought the balance itself to balance
Today a current electronic scale on a display makes us read the weight equivalent, it is no longer perceptible that RIGHT balance of a stadera in which even a decigram more or less altered the balance. Weighing was an enchanting game to find balance by adding or removing.
Chissa that this education to the just so in precarious balance, is not educational, even in life, as it happened to you. Concept of sacrosanct justice that gives balance
Comments Merak.dubhe for the work of recovering this beautiful image and for your wise words in the caption.
Best regards
Sergio

Thank you very much Renzo for your words, hello, a warm greeting, giancarlo
@Valentina: you know Valentina, as a young man I seemed to have understood almost everything but then the more time passed and the more my awareness of my misunderstanding of the things for which everything became more and more incredible and also exciting: for example that from a pot of primordial broth the hen came out alive! or that among not even five thousand million years our Sun will die expanding into a Red Giant that will gradually swallow Mercury, Venus and then the Earth, or our need for increasingly necessary words: mah, maybe it is all a vibration, from the strings of physics to the music of life, the emotion is perhaps just a moment of true attention.

You know how to excite with your words .. and this is a beautiful gift Giancarlo, looks and words are our way to make better this life so full of futile and empty things ..

Wonderful image that with your wise change creates the feeling of memory. Very good and very beautiful and exciting caption, your father had to be a special man!
I have also known the stadera, and every now and then some itinerant farmer still uses it.
A warm greeting
Paola

Valentina, Paola, Mat, Steam, I'm really happy with the empathy I take from your comments; even my father would thank you; the little stories I wrote there were among the many stories that he needed to tell: a few years ago I accompanied him for about ten afternoons to a physiotherapist to relieve the pains of knee osteoarthritis: he told them all the time of each session of everything, tirelessly, from the many episodes of war to his childhood: those ten sessions at the physiotherapist did him a great deal of good 8-) ... those who met him, after a while, could not help but love him.
Thanks of heart dear friends, a warm greeting to you, giancarlo
