Piero è una frazione di Monteviasco che si raggiunge con una piacevole passeggiata di circa 15 minuti partendo dal comodo posteggio della funivia che conduce al borgo. Vi si trovano alcune tipiche baite montane ormai molte delle quali abbandonate e utilizzate dalle mucche in cerca di ombra e riposo. I mulini furono costruiti nel XIX sec. per la macina del grano e dopo anni di rovina furono ristrutturati nel 1997. Scatto a infrarossi con filtro su sensore, 690 mm.
