Edificio intitolato ad Antonio Devoto, filantropo nato a Lavagna nel 1832 e morto a Buenos Aires nel 1916, la cui generosità e lungimiranza, unite alla determinata volontà della moglie, permisero la realizzazione della struttura negli anni trenta sulle pendici del Monte Zatta. L'enorme complesso di circa 22.000 metri quadrati (ha 365 finestre, una per ogni giorno dell'anno), adibito in origine all'accoglienza di fanciulli poveri, nel dopoguerra ebbe diversi utilizzi tra cui, per la salubrità della zona, anche quello di casa di cura per malattie polmonari. È infatti ancora oggi noto come "il collegio dello zatta" - cit #abbandono #urbex
