Hello Sergio, every now and then I remember that there are only animals, especially across your shots here on the forum, shots that are always a beauty and disarming simplicity. This face in particular looks really mean "sensors, resolution, digital noise, but the technicalities thousand protagonita I am, you just have to have the heart to take me" ... you did;-)

Hello David, it's always a pleasure to find you browse through my photos, but mostly it is always a great pleasure to read your wonderful comments, a unique beauty. I am truly honored and deeply as you have written on this photo, thank you very much David.
And thanks for having caught and stressed so hard and feeling the message I intended to convey with this image: any technique that can be applied to a photo is - and remains - always and only a means, never the ultimate goal. And the ultimate goal, for me, is always a thrill.
You know, circulating these days in Italy, one (in my opinion) beautiful advertisement for a known airline which, in essence, a message is sent that contains a great truth: flying a plane is safea matter of physics, but to make that flight Un'esperianza unique and rewarding is a matter of chemistry.
Here, I would say that the same can be applied to photography, take a picture technically perfect is a matter of physics, but make sure that the photo you will touch the heart and emotions, this is a matter of chemistry ..

Thanks again for your visit and for your compliments, and a dear greeting to you, my friend,
Sergio

Small series of great women !! You really are the undisputed KING of expressions, Sergio !! I swear .... if a person were to look at me with this expression ..... I could not shoot, I would have the feeling of stealing even the resignation of those eyes !!
You're really good and unique know you relate with those who rebuke.
Compliments you do them because they are due and I know that are always nice, but they really are ...... reductive !!!
With respect and admiration, Charles.

Hello Charles, who find you great pleasure to look around my galleries:-P

As always, the generosity of your compliments to me is matched only by your great talent. It 'a real honor for me, Charles, get the praise and appreciation on the part of one of the most talented and skilled photographers of this community, a photographer whom I respect and whose work I admire and I really envy you.
I confess that if your beautiful words, on the one hand, I was not a little embarrassed, on the other hand I was immensely gratifying, so thank you very much my friend.

A dear greetings to you.
Sergio

Hello Sergio of this shot I hit almost metallic eyes of the model and the serene expression educated than the perfect realization with your masterful use of light.

Hello Andrea

PS I posted the first picture on this site.

Hello Andrea, and even in your case, first of all let me express my happiness find yourself in once again to wander through my photos:-P
Thank you very much for appreciating this shot, particularly appreciated having the characteristics that I believe are the most significant.
The eyes of this girl (I want to clarify that this is not a model but a girl he met in a small village in southern Rajasthan) provide that particular sensation as a result of their color on one side, but mostly due to the reflected in them the leaden gray sky that day (it was raining).
Of course, I tried to emphasize the effect of concentrating the light on them, and this just to reiterate the notion that the photos can not be just an exercise in technique, but rather that the teccontrol unit must be used by the photographer on the basis of their sensitivity for the sole purpose of transmitting their emotions in those who look after the photo.
From what I've witness, I would say that in this case I did, and for that I thank you sincerely Andrew.

I take a little 'of this review to make a small digression to explain to me the sentence given in the caption.
I saw, by chance, a post that struck me because it has, in the title, the same sentence HC Bresson which also I have called. In that post a friend concluded his speech with this phrase "put the same brush and the same colors (ie the same cameras and the same Photoshop) in the hands of some guy instead of Leonardo da Vinci ...".
Here's what Next26ograve; you know my opinion;-). Hello

Jarmila Hello, thank you for your visit and for appreciating this photo. I apologize, but, if I remain somewhat skeptical about your claim, a bit 'too categorical wow !.

The choice, I would say it is more a question of luck, good fortune in meeting subjects interesting and full of personality, as in this case. On knowing how to photograph, judgment is always very subjective, and I confess that I too often, is more of a doubt about the quality of my photos. And these are not the only one to have if I were to judge only by the number of like:-P;-)
But luckily I also widely favorable comments by competent and talented photographers, as in your case, that lead me to think that maybe something good we can be.

Poetically bewitching. There Caravaggio, Rembrandt, filmography and much twentieth-century of quality, in addition to Curry.

I thank you sincerely, Vincenzo, for this your enthusiastic comment. Of course, the credit is largely attributable to this sweet girl, but I'm really glad you appreciated my interpretation. Thank you very much.

A big thanks to you, Antonio, for signing dwelt on this photo but especially for taking the time to express your opinion. For me, to know the opinion of those who dedicate time to my pictures is undoubtedly the real reason and the most interesting aspect of the post photos. Then, if the comment is largely favorable, as in your case, then the interest becomes real gratification, then sincerely thanks.

Wow, Claudio, that comment wow! :-P !!
I am sincerely flattered by what you wrote, but also, I confess, a little 'embarrassed: - |.
Obviously not within the merits of your considerations - would be quite tactless and inconvenient - but, in general, I believe that each of us, when preparing to take a picture and even more so when it is preparing to revise it and process it, is strongly - even if unconsciously - influenced by their culture and their own knowledge, that these factors undoubtedly influence in the formation of their own personal taste and therefore also in the way of composing a photograph.

That said, thanks again to you as much as I've wanted to write, and a friendly greeting.
Sergio
