at 17mm, 2 sec f/16.0, ISO 100, tripod. Parco Naturale Veglia - Devero, Italy.

Sono le 4,30 di mattina e ho sonno,ma la voglia di tornare al Devero è più forte,sento che oggi mi riserverà qualcosa di speciale.Dopo un'ora e mezza di strada passata a lottare con il sonno arrivo alla piana.Il cielo è nuvoloso ma non sembra minacciare pioggia.Mi incammino sul sentiero,la meta di oggi è l'alpe Buscagna,1h 1/2 di cammino,un'escursione veloce così ho il tempo di tornare a casa per mezzogiorno.Comincia ad albeggiare alle mie spalle,e quando arrivo all'inizio del sentiero a Pedemonte mi volto e lo spettacolo mi lascia senza fiato,il cielo si è tinto di rosso,un'alba così con tutte le volte che sono salito quassù non l'avevo mai vista.Tiro fuori il treppiedi e la reflex e comincio a scattare per un buon quarto d'ora,poi come tutto è cominciato all'improvviso finisce.Adesso le nuvole sono tornate grigie,e così ritiro tutto nello zaino e riprendo a salire.Arrivato all'alpe Misanco sento il bramito del cervo molto vicino a me,ma non riesco ad individuarlo,mi fa compagnia per un bel pezzo di sentiero,poi il suono si allontana,forse era un segnale di avvertimento,peccato mi sarebbe piaciuto fotografarlo.Arrivato nei pressi del lago nero comincia a piovere,e fra i larici vedo uno splendido arcobaleno,mi sbrigo a tirare fuori la reflex e faccio giusto in tempo a scattare una foto che si dissolve.La pioggia si fa più insistente e così trovo riparo sotto ad un masso,mangio qualcosa nell'attesa e dopo una ventina di minuti decido di ridiscendere prima che la pioggia aumenti di intensità.Percorro tutta la discesa sotto una pioggerellina fastidiosa che smette solo quando arrivo al parcheggio.Durante tutto il percorso non ho trovato anima viva,è meraviglioso camminare in mezzo alle montagne sentendo solo i suoni della natura...il Devero è riuscito a stupirmi anche questa volta.
