Scusa se forse di seguito dirò ovvietà fotografiche ma non ci conosciamo e non conosco la tua fotografia dato che, lasciami dire purtroppo!, sei tra coloro che ritengono di non condividere con noi nel forum i propri scatti.
Veniamo comunque al punto: la scelta del b/n notoriamente rende le immagini più "drammatiche" ed espressivamente intense stante che sottrae la distrazione del colore e fa sì che divenga più pregnante e non mediato il messaggio o la sensazione/emozione che si vuole trasmettere.
In questo specifico caso, se presti attenzione al titolo, volevo comunicare una sensazione di malinconica riflessione generata da una compenetrazione di nuvole temporalesche e pensieri non leggeri.
L'ho pensata così ma ho anche sviluppato uno scatto a colori con un PDR leggermente diverso.
Te lo mostro!
A mio parere sono due foto del tutto dissimili che trasmettono sensazioni molto diverse.
Per ciò che io volevo esprimere ritengo preferibile la versione in b/n da me postata.

Se permetti, mi soffermo però su alcune tue asserzioni.

Se noti anche solo guardando la mia ultima galleria paesaggi, la mia preferenza è indirizzata prettamente al colore.
Trovo però che in alcuni casi il b/n renda emozionalmente qualcosa in più e, in questo specifico caso, non si tratta affatto di una foto prettamente paesaggistica nel senso che l'elemento antropico rappresentato dalla panchina vuole suggerire la presenza nella scena di uno spettatore (io o chi guarda e vuole identificarsi in questo). Non si tratta di una foto nella quale vi è solo una scenario da ammirare bensì di uno scenario che ricomprende, tramite una sorta di "metonimia", la compenetrazione uomo/natura. Cupezza del cielo = cupezza del pensiero...molto sintetizzando.
Poi chiaro...può non piacere e può non "catturare" emozionalmente e ciò accade a te.
