, 8 sec f/11.0, ISO 200, tripod.

Why give up a shot? Just because the weather is not in the best condition? Absolutely NO !! This is, in its context, charming, well-performed and composed, with blue sky .... might not have been the usual classic mountain stream?
Beautiful face of a bad lot? Great result! Congratulations !!

talented Michi! a silky indovinatissimo! the most interesting thing on the site (of course, after the opportunity to meet other photo enthusiasts like myself) is to see new places, comfortably seated in front of a monitor .... you acquire a diversity of views, shooting styles, and varieties of subjects to achieve unimaginable only by their own efforts; then if the photos are taken by super photographers like you, dearest, are even more enjoyable! a hug!

There is a hole in the sky! Wow! A cascade of light escaping from a fiery celestial sphere that is becoming increasingly gloomy! That's why this summer is always darkest! :-D Hello! :-P

Eros, Francesco Fulvio and thank you very much for generously commented on this photo!
Francesco ... I understand, in a four-day photo tour "DIY" between Tyrol, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein have benefited only a half day of sun. : - / I'm sorry for your misfortune on the Bernina!
There's a hole in the sky!
:-D Think Fulvio what that hint of light appeared to me the most precious grayed !!! wow!
Greetings to all three!

my Nikon simulated exposure is not recognizing the presence of the filter ...

explain to me better? I also have a D7000 and I plan to buy some ND filters: the problem is with the live view or with the meter?

PS aberrations in the sky but you do not see posterizzazioni, sometimes in the loading and / or reducing the pixel becomes too

Fabiana, Massimo and Max THANK YOU for taking this picture your positive comments! :-):-)
Massimo me explain in simple words;-)
Canon has a device through which mounting a filter ND10 live view is simulated by increasing a little 'exposure automatically and then you have to screen a partial view of the scene with the filter (which I remind you is completely black) .
Our D7000 (but I'm not sure is true for all Nikon) does not have this feature.
This means that with Canon you can try to compose the photo with the filter mounted while ND10 with Nikon is necessary to proceed with several steps.
Essentially with the filter mounted no longer have any view even from live view. It is therefore necessary to set composition and MAF without a filter and then lock the machabout a MAF manual. Then mount the filter and set the appropriate setting. The result does not change just that with Nikon's more cumbersome preparation for the click. If I was not clear please ask !!! ;-)
Greetings to all !!! :-P

thank you very much Michael, but I acknowledge that with the filter mounted the meter read or compared to reading without a filter is added to stop the exposure that subtracts the filter itself?

thank you, the important thing is that the exposure meter functions, then obviously it's photo "reasoned" where there should be plenty of time to make the necessary assessments;-)

thanks again to availability
