However! Surreal architecture positioned there, but fascinating and well immortalized! Good!

Excellent shot where you propose an unusual boat that "floats" at 800 meters above sea level. I like it, congratulations Merak.
Best regards.
Herald.

It may be that abandonment can also be a source of inspiration, as so many of our ancestors left our shores to venture out in search of new opportunities.
Your continuous search for beauty, for the culture of a people, denotes your photos.
A small note that has nothing to do with it. Each of us has a photo that identifies him, but I can't think of you, except by matching you with the beautiful photo of the "Postman" on a motorcycle, so when I think of Fabio Ponso I see his little painter at work. Milestones for me.
Sorry for the digression, I wish you a good day my dear friend.

Dear Francesco, Federico, Eraldo, Agata, Renni, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind comments; Hello, best regards to all, Giancarlo

@Renni: :-) Yes, I share your school of thought: one identity-one image :-) ; Postman is a very dear memory for me, that was "my postman", that was "my street, the mulberries of my street, and the ice, the cold and the gigantic galaverne were part of me"; then in those years the shooting [amateur] with the negative meant economizing and nibbling at the moment that deserved/was thought to deserve to be immortalized: in the things and people of the past we are there too; I would say that "it's us".

"But I'm not there anymore", and you're the crazy ones...""
commodore
has gone mad or has been drinking" (Alice-De Gregori, with a small license).
Reading the presentation I am assailed by a thread of melancholy, which would have been further increased with a version in b/w.
A shot testimony of many stories, which are good and which not and in any case all imbued with nostalgia.

I didn't know the presence or the history of this rather peculiar building near Sestri L.
I liked its bizarre use in the context of the story: bar, restaurant, dance hall and so on.
The non-trivial search for something little known does you credit.
Best regards,
Massimo.

Dear Giacomo, Massimo, Jeant, Lucas19651970, I am happy to find you here and to read your words; Thank you all very much, hello, best regards, Giancarlo

@Massimo: :-) .... it is at the top of the mountains, near the Passo di Cento Croci: from Sestri Levante you have to drive about seventy kilometers on the SS523 to reach it :-)

Hi Marcello, very beautiful and particular this reinforced concrete structure similar to a ship. I also find interesting the caption you wrote, poor emigrant people, we are lucky Marcello. Well done, have a nice weekend, bye.

Hello, you are an exceptional person, thank you for the discovery and for the explanation and the story you told us. The imagination of men is great and so sometimes the realization of their dreams or fantasies, unfortunately also great is the forgetfulness and abandonment of the things and places where generations have lived and dreamed. See you soon G
