Ho seguito le vicende di questa coppia di merli acquaioli per circa 8 mesi. Dopo 4 mesi di appostamenti riesco a ottenere questo scatto, per me il pià bello della serie. Mentre ero in attesa sotto la rete fogliata ecco che il merlo si ferma a poca distanza da me, con la femmina poco distante e si esibisce in questo rituale di corteggiamento, ancora con la paglia nel becco. Un momento incredibile, giusto un paio di scatti prima che la macchina perdesse il fuoco. Quando lo riacquisisce il merlo è già andato a posarsi su un sasso poco più in là.
