con Fujifilm XF 1.4x TC WR, 1/2000 f/7.6, ISO 640, hand held. Specie: Threskiornis aethiopica

Quel giorno sono partito da casa con l'obiettivo di ritrarre decentemente questa specie. Mi sono appostato disteso nel fango della laguna con abito mimetico ed ho atteso per ore che gli ibis in lontananza dirottassero verso di me. Stavo per perdere la speranza quando ormai il sole era già molto alto nel cielo si sono avvicinati tre esemplari a caccia di granchi. Ho potuto così ammirare l'infallibile tecnica che questi uccelli utilizzano per mangiare i granchi. Con notevole maestria li prendono per le chele e le zampe scuotendoli con forza fino a staccare tutte le appendici ed infine ingoiano solo il corpo. Sono tornato a casa molto contento.
